The Widowmaker. The whale tail, wide arches, and turbo lag that could kill you made the 930 the most feared and desired 911 of the 1970s-80s.
History
The first production turbocharged 911 was a tamed version of the 934/935 race cars. Its massive turbo lag followed by a sudden wall of boost earned it the Widowmaker nickname. The whale tail spoiler housed the intercooler and became a design icon.
